The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, ranked No. 1 nationwide for cancer care, seeks a full-time Cytopathologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join a world-renowned team in the Department of Anatomical Pathology. The candidate's major responsibility will be cytopathology diagnostic service, which currently accessions approximately 20,000 cases per year, predominantly non-gynecological. Over 4,000 FNAs are performed each year. The candidate must have a strong interest in independent research and/or collaborative research with clinicians or basic science investigators. Additionally, participation in teaching of fellows, postdoctoral trainees and students is required.
