The Department of Pediatrics Patient Care at MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment to join the Pediatric Palliative and Supportive Care Team. The clinical faculty position will provide robust, inter-disciplinary pediatric palliative care to infants, children, adolescents, and AYAs suffering from life-threatening, life-limiting, and terminal diseases. This clinical faculty position in the division of Pediatrics will spend their clinical activity attending on the Palliative and Supportive Care Inpatient Service at the Children’s Cancer Hospital at MD Anderson as well as in the Palliative and Supportive Care Child and Adolescent outpatient clinic. The role involves providing clinical expertise in pediatric pain & symptom management and palliative care, and creating an appropriate teaching environment for fellows, residents, and students through lectures and bedside teaching. Additionally, the position requires participation and collaboration with the department's ongoing research program and scholarly work to enhance the academic environment. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, family members, hospital staff, and other faculty members.
