About The Position

Klauer Manufacturing Company, founded in 1870, is seeking a solutions-oriented Assistant Production Supervisor to implement company strategy and objectives within their department. The goal is to promote cultural values and persevere through obstacles to achieve winning results for both Klauer and its customers. This role is responsible for overseeing and supporting production team members, championing efficiency, safety, and consistent application of company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Train, delegate and oversee the job assignments of production and shipping and receiving team members throughout their shift to maximize efficiency throughout the departments.
  • Responsible for the enforcement of all company factory rules, policies, and all applicable safety requirements.
  • Address team member performance issues and apply the Klauer progressive discipline process consistently with the support of Production Supervisor and Human Resources.
  • Act with direction from supervisor to ensure production and shipping schedules are efficient and timely.
  • Routinely walk production floor to assist with quality and safety initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
