About The Position

This is a permanent full-time opportunity within the Defence Industry. The Assistant Production Manager will support the Production Manager with all maintenance activities, including urgent defects on contracted defence platforms. Key responsibilities include overseeing the performance of subcontractors, providing leadership to Subcontractor Coordinators, and initiating process improvements to ensure quality assurance for production. This fixed-term position, with the possibility of permanency, requires working from the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson and on Garden Island, WA.

Requirements

Experienced maintenance management professional.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project management experience.
Ability to build and retain a highly motivated and technical team.
Australian Citizenship.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
Current AU Drivers Licence.

Nice To Haves

Significant experience in a large marine engineering or construction project environment.
