About The Position

The Assistant Principal at St. Louis Catholic Academy supports the Principal in providing leadership, supervision, and management of the school’s academic programs and daily operations. This role promotes a culture of academic excellence, faith formation, and student well-being while ensuring that school policies and Catholic values are upheld.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Valid teaching certification and/or administrative licensure, as required
  • Experience in education, with demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to Catholic education and faith-based leadership
  • Criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and evaluation of the school’s curriculum and instructional practices
  • Assist in supervising and evaluating teachers to promote effective instruction and student achievement
  • Encourage the use of data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
  • Support professional development initiatives for faculty and staff
  • Assist with daily school operations, including scheduling, attendance, and discipline
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful school environment
  • Support the development and enforcement of school policies and procedures
  • Coordinate school activities, events, and programs
  • Oversee student behavior and enforce discipline policies in a fair and consistent manner
  • Work with students, families, and staff to address behavioral and academic concerns
  • Promote a positive school culture focused on respect, responsibility, and accountability
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support instructional goals and student needs
  • Assist in faculty meetings, committees, and school improvement planning
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in classroom management and instructional strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents, families, and the broader school community
  • Assist in resolving concerns and fostering positive relationships
  • Support recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts
  • Support the Catholic mission and spiritual life of the school
  • Participate in liturgies, prayer services, and religious activities
  • Promote Catholic values and moral development among students and staff
