About The Position
Provide students with appropriate instruction to help fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree
- Three years successful classroom teaching experience
- Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with Principal or Administrative certification.
- Certified Instructional Leadership Training and appraiser in Texas Teacher Appraisal System, PDAS or T-TESS, or such alternatives as may be acceptable to the district.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for proper student conduct and maintenance of student discipline
- Serve as a campus appraiser for teacher appraisal system
- Assists with extracurricular activities
- Assists with development of curriculum and improvement of instructional program as directed by the principal
- Continues professional growth, seeking opportunities to expand educational competencies.
- Other duties as assigned by the principal.
