White Settlement ISD is seeking a dynamic and student-focused High School Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This role is critical in supporting campus operations, student achievement, and a positive school culture. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who is passionate about fostering a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment for all students.

Requirements

• Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certification required.
• Proven experience in middle school teaching and/or administration.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Texas education laws, student discipline, and instructional best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading instructional programs to improve student learning outcomes.
• Support teachers through coaching, professional development, and curriculum implementation.
• Promote a positive school climate by managing student behavior, discipline, and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with state and district policies, including attendance and academic accountability.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
• Oversee campus safety procedures and emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate with the principal in managing school operations, staffing, and budget planning.
