About The Position

Rocky Mountain Prep is hiring a bilingual Spanish- and English-speaking Assistant Principal of Operations (APO) for its Federal campus. This is a 100% in-person role and a key position on the campus leadership team. APOs build and manage the operational infrastructure that enables teachers to teach and students to learn. They are directly accountable for attendance, enrollment, and student persistence, while overseeing the daily operations that support instruction. The APO partners with instructional and student services leaders to remove barriers to learning, develop a high-performing operations team, and create a safe, welcoming, joyful, and efficient campus environment. The role includes designing daily systems for arrival, transitions, supervision, and dismissal; managing schedules, materials, space, and events; maintaining accurate scholar and family data; and stewarding budgets and operational resources. The APO drives enrollment through community outreach and management of the recruitment pipeline, and supports attendance and persistence through monitoring, family engagement, and responsive communication. The APO also leads safety, supervision, and facilities systems, coaches and develops the operations team, and aligns operations with academic and culture priorities. Starting salary for an Assistant Principal new to the network is $100,000, with growth opportunities based on performance and experience. The position is eligible for an annual performance bonus of up to 15% of base salary based on network-wide organizational goals.
