About The Position

Heritage Montessori-Newport Mesa is seeking an Assistant Primary Teacher in Costa Mesa, California. The role supports the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepares and organizes learning materials, and supervises children during activities, meals, and naptime to help maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The teacher helps lead learning activities, supports children’s development, monitors their progress, and contributes to a harmonious classroom for children and fellow teachers. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
12 Child Development Units, required by the State of California.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
