About The Position

As our Assistant Press Operator, you will support press operations, ensure quality, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the Press Operator and receive on-the-job training to help advance your career.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments on equipment
• General experience with presses
• Ability to troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments
• Ensuring high-quality production output
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. Frequently
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift (12 hours)
• Ability to read job specifications, perform maintenance, read a micrometer, and use basic math & computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist Press Operator with press setup and make-ready tasks
• Operate & maintain printing presses
• Install plates and blankets to ensure high-quality output
• Make necessary color or register adjustments
• Assist in replacing press rollers using hand tools
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
