Safely, efficiently and effectively operate assigned production machinery meeting or exceeding safety, quality standards, efficiency, machine set-up, waste and non-chargeable downtime standards. This role involves operating production machinery, facilitating training, participating in safety programs, performing machine changeovers, monitoring quality and production, making mechanical adjustments, correcting web breaks, completing quality checks, and directing resources. The Press Operator is also responsible for troubleshooting printing problems, ensuring proper ink viscosity, documenting production data, and maintaining a clean work area. The position requires adherence to company policies, uniform guidelines, and attendance at meetings. Business travel may be required, and other duties may be assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
