About The Position
As our Assistant Press Operator, you will support press operations, ensure quality, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the Press Operator and receive on-the-job training to help advance your career.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments on equipment
- General experience with presses
- Ability to troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments
- Ensuring high-quality production output
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. Frequently
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift (12 hours)
- Ability to read job specifications, perform maintenance, read a micrometer, and use basic math & computer skills
Responsibilities
- Assist Press Operator with press setup and make-ready tasks
- Operate & maintain printing presses
- Install plates and blankets to ensure high-quality output
- Make necessary color or register adjustments
- Assist in replacing press rollers using hand tools
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
