About The Position

StarChild Academy is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to help create a safe, positive learning environment for children. The teacher assists with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, preparing and organizing learning materials, and supervising children during activities, meals, and naptime. The role also involves supporting children’s learning and development and collaborating with fellow teachers. StarChild Academy is part of Endeavor Schools, an education management company with more than 100 schools in 14 states. This position requires Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law; candidates may need to complete screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law is required.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience preferred.
45 DCF hours preferred.
