About The Position

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Lake Orion, Michigan, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to support young learners and their families. In collaboration with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher is responsible for the care, supervision, and management of an engaging, developmentally appropriate preschool classroom using the HighScope curriculum. The role focuses on fostering children's cognitive and social-emotional growth through fun, hands-on activities and strong communication. The position is full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a pay range of $16–$19 per hour based on years of early childhood education experience and education. The position does not qualify for U.S. visa sponsorship or relocation.

Requirements

• Must have full-time availability and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR certification is required for teaching positions; it may be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to pass a background check, including fingerprinting.
• Must reside in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in early childhood education or as a private nanny.
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or progress toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
