Assistant Preschool Teacher
About The Position
The Assistant Preschool Teacher helps create a positive, engaging learning environment where children can learn, play, grow, and thrive academically and emotionally. The role partners with other preschool teachers to implement the proprietary curriculum and uses engaging characters to make learning fun. It also helps maintain classroom quality, compliance, health, and safety; collaborates with peers to create a welcoming environment; and communicates children's adventures and achievements to their families through mobile apps and personal discussions. This is an entry-level position.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for the education and care of children.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Meet applicable state licensing requirements for the role.
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood education (ECE) coursework preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with preschool teachers to implement the proprietary curriculum and use engaging characters to make learning fun.
- Maintain quality compliance and health and safety standards throughout daycare classrooms and programs.
- Collaborate with peers to create a positive working environment and a welcoming, engaging space for children.
- Communicate with parents and families about children's adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
