About The Position

Independent Artist Group (IAG), formed in 2023 through the merger of Agency for the Performing Arts and Artist Group International, is an artist representation agency serving clients across multiple platforms and business lines.

IAG is seeking an experienced Assistant to support two high-volume Agents in its Physical Production Department and help support the Agency’s top-tier below-the-line roster. The position calls for a communicative, organized, thoughtful individual who takes initiative and is willing to learn on the job.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail; resourcefulness, proactivity, reliability, trustworthiness, and assertiveness.
• Ability to follow through, initiate projects, develop timelines, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain discretion and a high level of confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or 1–2 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Prior agency and/or management experience.
• Proficiency in entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Roll calls, manage calendars, and take notes.
• Manage departmental records and databases, as well as cross-departmental grids.
• Communicate with high-profile clients, studio and network executives, promoters, and managers while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Submit material and track clients for television and film projects.
• Maintain and track expenses.
