About The Position

TO Live is seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Patron & Events Manager to join our Patron & Events team in this full-time role. The Assistant Manager, Patron and Event Services provides hands-on operational and administrative leadership across TO Live venues, with balanced accountability for Front of House, Food & Beverage, and Event Services operations. The role functions as a working manager, supporting on the floor service delivery while strengthening inventory controls, financial accuracy, systems oversight, and cross venue coordination to ensure consistent patron experiences and efficient event execution.

Requirements

  • Smart Serve Certification (required).
  • Administrative experience, especially in scheduling and coordination.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in live events, venue, or hospitality settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with union environments and Collective Bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise unionized Patron Services staff, including front‑of‑house, food and beverage, merchandise, porters, and contract security, providing visible on‑floor leadership, real‑time support, and operational oversight during performances and events.
  • Coordinate front of house operations before, during, and after events to ensure safe, efficient, and professional service delivery.
  • Respond to patron inquiries, complaints, and service issues, using sound judgment and escalating concerns in accordance with TO Live procedures.
  • Support event execution by coordinating Patron Services staffing and service logistics and participating in site tours and client meetings as required.
  • Provide dedicated on the floor management for bar and concession operations during performances, special events, and rentals, supporting staff performance and monitoring service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and applicable liquor service regulations through active, on‑site monitoring.
  • Support beverage and concession setup, breakdown, and event‑specific service execution in alignment with client requirements and TO Live service standards.
  • Facilitate cross‑venue coordination and communication related to Patron Services and food and beverage operations to promote consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Participate as an active member of the Patron and Event Services Management Team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct and support weekly food and beverage inventory counts and reconciliations across venues.
  • Support food and beverage ordering processes, including variance tracking, discrepancy investigation, and resolution.
  • Support inventory management, including month‑end inventory reconciliations in collaboration with management and finance teams.
  • Prepare and complete operational documentation, including house counts, incident reports, lost and found records, and patron feedback summaries.
  • Maintain accurate and effective use of operational systems, including Point of Sale (POS), inventory platforms, and Momentus (EBMS) event records.
  • Provide first‑line operational support for POS systems during live events, including stabilization, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate transaction processing.
  • Undertake special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
