About The Position

The Senate of Virginia is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill an Assistant Page Supervisor position in the Senate Page Program. This program is a session-long educational opportunity facilitated by the Senate Clerk’s Office for 13 and 14-year-old students from across the Commonwealth. The Assistant Supervisor will be an integral member of a team responsible for managing the flow of daily assignments given to the Senate Page class by the Senate Page Supervisor, Senators, agency offices, and other personnel. Under the administration of the Clerk of the Senate, the Senate Page Program Director, and the Assistant Program Director, the Assistant Page Supervisor will work directly with the overall Senate Page class.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure standards of decorum and attire are upheld at all times
  • Distribute and ensure completion of assignments and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced work environment
  • Verify the location of assigned Pages throughout the work day (to include morning check in)
  • Interact with various levels of state employees through exceptional standards of service
  • Help facilitate structured activities each afternoon
