The successful candidate is expected to build a nationally and internationally visible, externally funded research program. A competitive startup package and access to existing UNT computing resources will be provided. The faculty member will contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, typically one course per long semester, as well as departmental and university service. Application review begins November 10, 2026, and continues until the position is filled. Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a research proposal as their statement of research interests (suggested length: three pages), a teaching philosophy statement (maximum two pages), and contact information for three professional references. UNT will notify applicants before contacting references. Transcripts are not required at application but may be included if available.
