The NMSU School of Social Work, part of the College of Health, Education, and Social Transformation, invites applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor faculty position. We are seeking a scholar-educator who can teach across our undergraduate and graduate curriculum in person, online synchronous, and online asynchronous formats, grounded in CSWE/EPAS competencies. The ideal candidate will bring an active, fundable research agenda, a strong record of mentoring students, and a genuine commitment to equity-centered social work education. Rank and tenure status will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and record of scholarship, teaching, and service. NMSU is a Hispanic-Serving Institution with deep ties to Native American communities across the Southwest; candidates with experience in culturally responsive pedagogy, Indigenous social work practice, bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency, and academic leadership are especially encouraged to apply.
