About The Position
The Department of Social Work at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a 9-month tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Social Work. The appointment will begin in Fall 2027.
Requirements
- Hold a doctoral degree in Social Work or a closely related field. ABD considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date.
- Hold a master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program.
- A minimum of two years post masters experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach 12 credit hours per semester, which includes undergraduate and/or graduate departmental course offerings in Social Work.
- Advise students.
- Engage in scholarly activity.
- Provide professional, university and community service.
