National University is seeking a Full-time Assistant or Associate Professor, Professor of Practice, and Academic Program Director (APD) for the B.S. Cybersecurity program. The rank will be determined by qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship, with a commitment to serving adult learners. This role involves collaboration with faculty and administration to ensure program quality, student engagement, and success. A key focus will be on developing and enhancing the cybersecurity curriculum to meet current industry standards and address emerging threats. Hands-on knowledge of Linux, Windows, and various cybersecurity tools is essential. The APD will direct the strategy, operations, and support for the degree program, acting as the primary spokesperson for faculty and students, and ensuring program quality and student success. This role includes collaborating with program faculty, the Director of Assessment for program evaluation, and the Director of Curriculum for course development. Regular meetings with College leadership will ensure program alignment with University and College goals. A Professor of Practice position may be considered in lieu of scholarship requirements. This position is remote, with a hybrid option for San Diego-based candidates involving bi-monthly student meetings.
