About The Position
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity to teach advanced courses to students pursuing bachelor's degrees in Cybersecurity and related computer subjects. This role involves scholarly activities such as publishing research, presenting at professional conferences, and maintaining a research agenda. The position also includes advising Cybersecurity majors, promoting student retention, and supporting departmental and university strategic plans.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited institution.
Responsibilities
- Teach an advanced diverse set of Cybersecurity courses to students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Cybersecurity & computer related subjects.
- Pursue scholarly activities such as publishing research.
- Participate in professional conferences by maintaining memberships.
- Maintain a research agenda for individual research & support departmental grants efforts.
- Advise Cybersecurity majors.
- Promote student retention.
- Foster department & university strategic plans.
