About The Position

The W. Fielding Rubel School of Business, the only private business school in Kentucky accredited by AACSB, is seeking an innovative educator and engaged scholar for a full-time faculty position in Business Technology and Artificial Intelligence, beginning Fall 2027. The appointment will be at the assistant or associate professor rank. The successful candidate will prepare students for a technology-driven business environment by contributing to undergraduate and graduate programs and supporting initiatives in artificial intelligence, business technology, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in information systems, artificial intelligence, business technology, or digital innovation, with the ability to translate complex technological concepts into practical business applications. Requirements

• Ph.D. in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Technology Management, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Doctoral candidates with an expected completion date of July 2027 are encouraged to apply. ABDs within one year of completion will be considered.
• An earned doctorate is necessary for rank at the assistant or higher level.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence and the mentoring of students.
• Well-defined research agenda and the potential to publish in quality peer-reviewed journals within their area of expertise.

• Experience teaching graduate students and working professionals.
• Industry experience involving technology implementation, analytics, digital transformation, or artificial intelligence.
• Ability to teach in multiple modalities, including online and hybrid formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems, business technology, artificial intelligence, and related disciplines.
• Contribute to curriculum development in areas related to emerging technologies, digital transformation, and business innovation.
• Engage in scholarly and professional activities consistent with AACSB expectations.
• Participate in assessment, advising, and university service activities.
• Support partnerships with industry and community organizations to enhance student learning and workforce development initiatives.
