About The Position

Northeastern University's Bouvé College of Health Sciences, Department of Pharmacy and Health Systems Sciences, is seeking a Full-time (52-week appointment) non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor. This position, with an anticipated start date of July 2026 or until filled, will be campus-based and focus on integrated skills-focused lab instruction, including simulation and interprofessional education. The role is not affiliated with an external clinical site. The department and school are committed to fostering an environment that places the patient at the forefront of all activities. Requirements

  • Terminal degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts by appointment start date
  • Evidence of teaching excellence and commitment to supporting students

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in high-fidelity simulation, interprofessional, and experiential educational models
  • Additional expertise in artificial intelligence, data analytics, operations management including course coordination/teaching within lab, and pharmacy leadership
  • For Associate level appointment: a minimum of 5 years of academic or related experience with evidence of leadership and scholarly output.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee educational aspects of the Doctor of Pharmacy degree programs’ pharmacy practice labs.
  • Develop the skills of pharmacy students in the PharmD curriculum in accordance with accreditation standards.
  • Incorporate innovative pedagogical methods of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and provide authentic assessment and feedback.
  • Collaborate on and facilitate interprofessional education opportunities within the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, Northeastern University, and surrounding Boston-area institutions.
  • Participate in the oversight of the operational aspects of the laboratory.
  • Provide didactic teaching.
  • Participate in service to the department and school.
  • Engage in scholarship of teaching and learning.
