About The Position

SP+ is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager with Property and Leasing Management experience to assist in the day-to-day management of assigned locations. The role ensures parking operations are conducted within contractual guidelines, fosters good client relations, and promotes a professional image. The position also involves participating in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction and engaging in the development of property-level financial and operational goals.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate.
  • Must have Property and Leasing Management experience.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
  • Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
  • Have a strong customer orientation and positive attitude.
  • Able to respond to requests for service and assistance in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of six months of parking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of assigned locations.
  • Ensure appropriate customer interaction.
  • Supervise the completion of all evening closing reports.
  • Process bank deposits.
  • Schedule staff.
  • Supervise frontline staff (e.g. cashiers, valet attendants, maintenance porters, etc.).
  • Prepare month-end reports.
  • Audit daily cashier shift reports.
  • Monitor and check time cards.
  • Hire and train frontline staff.
  • Review damage claims.
  • Disburse petty cash.
  • Prepare the annual budget.
  • Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.
  • Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
