About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the CTICU/CT-Stepdown unit at Lankenau Medical Center. The role involves building and leading an interdisciplinary team within a 32-bed unit, working alongside the Nurse Manager to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include providing ongoing feedback to staff, promoting departmental goals, coordinating staffing needs and schedules, and collaborating on interviewing and selecting new team members. The Assistant Nurse Manager will support a team caring for the Cardiothoracic patient population.

Requirements

• Recent 3-5 years ICU Nurse experience required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN or other related Bachelor's Degree required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Association / American Red Cross) required.

Nice To Haves

• CTICU Nurse experience preferred.
• Recent Assistant Nurse Manager and/or Leadership experience preferred.
• MSN or other related Master's Degree preferred.
• Certification in specialty area is desired.
