About The Position

This role is for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Acute Inpatient Rehab department at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, WI. The position is full-time with a rotating shift schedule. The Assistant Nurse Manager will assess daily patient access needs, ensure appropriate patient care is provided, and oversee all aspects of nursing department operations. They will deliver quality patient care, ensure the implementation of clinical objectives, and delegate duties to clinical staff based on their skills and abilities. The role also involves participating in quality initiatives, auditing projects, and developing improvement plans, as well as conducting hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Assess daily patient access needs and ensure that appropriate patient care is provided.
