The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of sedation services for pediatric patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine Interventional Radiology etc. This role supports daily clinical operations while focusing heavily on staff education, clinical competency, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Will oversee the implementation of evidence-based sedation protocols, assist in managing patient flow and procedural schedules, and ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulatory guidelines. Is responsible to respond to urgent patient care needs, support team members during high-acuity procedures, and maintain a strong presence on the unit as both a clinical expert and mentor. Will also act as a liaison between nursing staff and collaborating services such as radiology, anesthesia, and child life, promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and family-centered care. will lead orientation and onboarding for new hires, facilitate ongoing competency validation and in-service training, and organize simulation-based learning and emergency preparedness drills.
