The RN Pediatric Procedural Sedation assesses, plans, organizes, performs and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of pediatric patients receiving procedural sedation. Provides health education to parents and patients pre and post sedation. Initiates and interprets hemodynamic monitoring parameters. Coordinates efforts of the multidisciplinary team in planning patient care. Evaluates effectiveness of sedation plan. This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly; Days. A minimum of 3 years RN work experience is required; previous experience in Pediatrics and Procedural Sedation is strongly preferred.
