About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to join the Emergency Department team at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, Florida. This full-time night-shift position is based at an emergency center serving a rapidly growing community and is suited to nurses committed to patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of nursing experience.
• Medical-surgical and telemetry experience.
• Leadership and charge nurse experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with direct care staff during the shift to deliver quality patient care.
• Serve as an expert clinical resource.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge flow.
• Take a lead role in implementing changes.
• Support and coach staff development.
• Make shift-to-shift patient care assignments.
• Take a direct patient care assignment as needed.
