About The Position

The Assistant Nurse Manager manages all aspects of a specialty area, including the direct daily supervision of staff assigned to the team, inventory control, and team-member assignments. The role coordinates case planning, patient flow, and implementation of processes. The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the team's success on identified quality measures, such as patient hospital-acquired conditions, and for the unit's fiscal responsibility.

Requirements

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework.
• One year of related experience.
• Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
• Georgia registered nurse license or multistate nursing license.
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
