About The Position

The Assistant Nurse Manager manages all aspects of a specialty area, including the direct daily supervision of staff on the assigned team, inventory control, and assignment of team members. The role coordinates case planning, patient flow, and implementation of processes. It is responsible for team success on identified quality measures, including patient hospital-acquired conditions, and for fiscal responsibility for the unit.

Requirements

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework.
• One year of related experience.
• Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
• Georgia registered nurse license or multistate nursing license.
• Obtain CPR within 30 days of hire.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
