About The Position

Northstar Travel Group is seeking a multitalented editor passionate about building a journalism career in the travel industry. The ideal candidate is genuinely curious about the travel world, notices what's new and important, and can translate that into clear, useful, and engaging news for a professional audience, including reported features. The position requires a person who combines warmth with strong professional instincts, consistently shows up prepared, polished, and engaged, and is ready to listen, learn, and get the best story. This is a highly visible, on-camera, and in-person role requiring comfort presenting professionally in meetings, industry settings, and live events. Regular interaction with senior leadership and external stakeholders is expected, demanding consistent readiness and professionalism. While some travel is involved, the role operates in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment typically requiring a standard Monday-Friday schedule.
