Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years in a merchandise capacity.
  • Must be self-motivated, have solid time leadership skills, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Pivot Tables, Word and Power Point.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in achieving category sales, profit and inventory targets under the direction of the Buyer.
  • Builds and maintains multiple weekly sales reports that help drive assortment, SKU and receipt planning.
  • Completes ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Provides Buyers, Directors and Design with weekly analysis relating to style performance.
  • Follows market trends and identifies assortment opportunities.
  • Completes pre-season item setup and ensures data integrity in PLM & SAP.
  • Works alongside Supply Chain and Sourcing to create accurate purchase orders that meet deadlines.
  • Uploads in-season pricing through markdown and promotional setup.
  • Responds to reports provided by the store operations team to ensure store scanning issues are minimized.
  • Supports Buyers in proofing all marketing assets, including flyers, campaign, and in-store signage.
  • Participates in the go-to-market strategy each season.
  • Works cross functionally with ecommerce team to ensure product is setup on time and with accuracy.
  • Partners with various member of the internal and external teams; visual, marketing, product development, design, visual and supply chain.
