About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for the facility and site operations. The role uses a disciplined, results-focused approach to meet and exceed volume, revenue, and profitability goals, while leading by example alongside the team. It combines administrative work with hands-on operational duties in an outdoor, fast-paced environment and offers professional development and a path to higher-level management positions.

The Assistant Manager helps lead a team of 10–15 employees, promotes teamwork, provides friendly and high-quality guest service, supports employee training and development, performs limited administrative tasks and equipment checks, and maintains the facility, landscaping, and equipment rooms. The position requires work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, as business needs dictate. Occasional driving for company business may be required, with a valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, climbing, and crouching.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly to safety or operational concerns in a noisy environment.
• Ability to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Comfort working around water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving mechanical equipment.
• Drug screening and background check as required by state guidelines.
• If occasional company-business driving is required: a valid driver's license and compliance with company driving standards.

• Mechanical inclination and experience preferred.
• Restaurant management experience is ideal; related skill sets are described as transferable.
