About The Position

As an Assistant Manager at WHBM, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. You will help foster a welcoming environment for associates and customers, creating memorable, personalized experiences that reflect the company’s culture of hospitality. The role includes developing associates, supporting store financial goals, and helping maintain brand standards and efficient store operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; operate the register; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Passion for the brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Three years of retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership of achieving the store’s financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, developing, and coaching associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and using an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Help ensure safe and efficient store operations, including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and inventory execution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
