About The Position

The Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations. The role supports hiring, supervising and working with staff to complete daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising. It helps maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly customer service, executes the food program, and sets a positive example for the team through urgency, patience and leadership. Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.

The position offers flexible schedules and shift availability across days, evenings, overnights and weekends. Physical requirements include standing or walking for up to 8 hours, lifting and carrying items of varying weights, pushing and pulling, bending, and handling objects; climbing a ladder may also be required.

• Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift.
• Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with the hands; handwork requires eye-hand coordination and may require climbing a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place or remove signs.
