About The Position
Happy People Pizza, a Domino’s Pizza franchise, is hiring an Assistant Manager with the ambition to advance into a General Manager role. The company offers a paid training program, and prior pizza experience is not required. The position provides opportunities to build management and customer-service experience and to pursue career advancement across the company’s 56 stores. The role also includes contributing to the local community through charitable fundraising, helping feed people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Candidates must be over 18 and have at least one year of management experience. They must be available either Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend. Employees who operate a vehicle for business purposes, including deliveries, must meet the stated driving-history and driving-record standards.
Requirements
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- At least one year of management experience.
- Must be available either Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend.
- For business driving, an 18-year-old must have proof of at least two years of driving history immediately preceding the MVR evaluation; a 19-year-old must have proof of at least one year. A learner’s permit period documented by a governmental authority may count toward driving history, and an officially stated license is required.
- For business driving, no more than two driving-related violations in the two years immediately preceding the MVR evaluation and no more than three in the preceding three years.
- For business driving, no more than one at-fault accident in the three years preceding the MVR evaluation.
- For business driving, disqualifying violations include leaving the scene of an accident or hit and run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, and eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
Responsibilities
- Support the restaurant’s management and customer-service operations.
- Participate in the company’s community efforts, including raising funds for local charitable donations, feeding people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
- If operating a vehicle for business purposes, including making deliveries, meet the specified driving-history and driving-record requirements.
