The Assistant Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. This role also involves delivering products to customers via car and to their doors, as well as distributing marketing materials. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Essential functions include standing for extended periods, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items, pushing and pulling trays, infrequent climbing, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve forceful use of forearms and wrists. Team members may use various tools and equipment including pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Delivery duties require a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving, walking, and climbing stairs. Delivery personnel are exposed to varying weather conditions.
