Requirements

• One year of experience as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, Roadway Programs Coordinator, or Transportation Construction Manager 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Six years of technical experience in highway maintenance, highway construction, or maintenance of heavy equipment used in highway construction projects; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance plans, estimates, and schedules for surface treatment, patching, snow removal, signage, and bridge repair
• Lead highway and bridge maintenance crews and coordinate minor construction activities
• Review work plans, resource requests, and project needs to support operational goals
• Manage agility agreements and meet with local partners to set priorities for shared services
• Oversee incident response activities and ensure compliance with environmental permits
• Conduct inspections and monitor both staff work and contracted maintenance tasks
