About The Position

North Star Pizza is a 27-store franchise looking to expand and grow, offering potential for growth within the company. The Assistant Manager supports the store manager with daily operations, team leadership, and customer service at the Lindstrom location. Starting wage is $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Proficiency in operational management, including inventory control and staff scheduling.
Solid understanding of financial management and basic accounting principles.
Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standards.
Lead, motivate, and train team members to achieve performance goals and provide excellent customer service.
Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and ensure appropriate coverage during all shifts.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, process shipments, and conduct regular stock counts.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Assist with financial management, including cash handling, deposits, and basic accounting tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
Contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies to meet targets.
Support the store manager with administrative tasks and reporting.
