Requirements

  • Hospitality-oriented
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Fine Dining Restaurants
  • Sommelier Certification, preferably.
  • In-depth knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and food pairings.
  • Must have refined public relations skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Must have knowledge of POS Systems, OpenTable etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and a high-quality environment.
  • Supports the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in implementing policies, procedures, and achieving restaurant objectives.
  • Assists with scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborates with the kitchen team and staff to ensure effective communication and seamless service.
  • Develops and manages beverage programs within the restaurant's operational framework.
  • Supervises the performance and training of service staff, in accordance with restaurant standards.
  • Maintains high standards of quality in food, beverages, service, facilities, and guest satisfaction.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of staff and guests.
  • Offers wine recommendations and pairings to enhance the dining experience.
  • Leads training on wines and service techniques, as well as managing wine inventory, including orders and storage.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, emerging wines, and new producers to maintain a dynamic and innovative program.
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
  • Ensures confidentiality and protects company assets.
  • Complies with all company safety policies and procedures; reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships, supports the team in achieving common goals, listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
