About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibilities for the site’s facility and operations. This position helps achieve established volume, revenue, and profitability goals through a self-disciplined, results-oriented approach. Assistant Managers lead by example, working alongside the team on the front line. The role offers professional development and a career path toward higher-level management positions at Tidal Wave Auto Spa.

The position combines administrative duties with hands-on operational work in an outdoor, fast-paced environment. It assists in leading a team of 10–15 employees, delivering quality and friendly guest service, training and developing employees, conducting limited administrative work and equipment checks, and maintaining the facility, landscaping, equipment rooms, and equipment. Work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on company needs. Occasional driving for company business may also be required; a valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards are necessary.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, climbing, and crouching.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Comfort with regular exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving mechanical equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly to safety or operational concerns in a noisy environment.
• Ability to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on company needs.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards if driving for company business.
• Drug screen and background check required per state guidelines.

• Mechanical inclination and experience preferred.
