About The Position

As an Assistant Manager at Maggiano's Little Italy, you are a frontline leader who helps keep the restaurant running smoothly by supporting the management team, energizing Teammates, and ensuring every Guest has a memorable experience. You will learn all aspects of restaurant operations while developing the skills to advance into larger leadership roles. Maggiano's provides hands-on coaching, accountability, and opportunities to grow into Restaurant Manager roles and beyond.

Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Guest service.
Ability to lead by example and energize a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to perform essential job functions in a dynamic restaurant environment, potentially involving varying temperatures, noise levels, and peak-hour demands.
Ability to move throughout the restaurant, retrieve items from shelves and storage areas, and transport supplies weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Lead shifts to ensure seamless operations and exceptional Guest experiences.
Coach and motivate Teammates to deliver outstanding service and food quality.
Monitor food preparation and presentation, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Handle Guest concerns professionally using a solutions-first approach.
Support the hiring, training, and development of new Teammates.
Partner with managers on scheduling, labor management, and restaurant initiatives.
