About The Position

The Assistant Manager is a frontline leader who helps keep the restaurant running smoothly by supporting the management team, energizing Teammates, and ensuring Guests have memorable experiences. The role provides exposure to all aspects of restaurant operations and is intended to build the skills needed for advancement into larger leadership roles, including Restaurant Manager. Maggiano's offers hands-on coaching, accountability, and opportunities to grow based on talent and drive.

Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Guest service.
Ability to lead by example and energize a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to perform essential job functions in a dynamic restaurant environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and peak-hour demands.
Ability to move throughout the restaurant, retrieve items from shelves and storage areas, and transport supplies weighing up to 30 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Lead shifts to ensure smooth operations and exceptional Guest experiences.
Coach and motivate Teammates to deliver outstanding service and food quality.
Monitor food preparation and presentation, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Handle Guest concerns professionally and with a solutions-first approach.
Support hiring, training, and development of new Teammates.
Partner with managers on scheduling, labor management, and restaurant initiatives.
