About The Position

The Assistant Manager operates equipment, stocks ingredients, prepares products, receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, and completes related paperwork. The role includes cleaning equipment and the facility, delivering products by car to customers, and distributing flyers and door hangers. The position requires open availability and involves training and leading others. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must pass a background check.
• Open availability.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
