About The Position

Happy People Pizza, a Domino’s Pizza franchise, is seeking an Assistant Manager with ambition to advance to General Manager. The company provides a paid training program; previous pizza experience is not required. The role offers opportunities to develop management and customer service experience and to pursue advancement across the company’s 56 U.S. stores. The position also involves supporting local community initiatives, including fundraising for charitable donations, feeding people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Applicants must be over 18 and have at least one year of management experience. The schedule must include either Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend. Driving eligibility requirements apply to employees who operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, including deliveries. These include minimum driving-history requirements based on age and restrictions on driving violations and at-fault accidents. Certain serious violations disqualify an employee from driving for Domino’s.

Requirements

Must be over the age of 18.
At least one year of management experience.
Must be available either Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend.
For business driving, an 18-year-old must have at least two years of driving history immediately preceding the MVR evaluation; a 19-year-old must have at least one year. A learner’s permit period may count only if documented by an appropriate governmental authority.
For business driving, no more than two driving-related violations in the two years immediately preceding the MVR evaluation and no more than three in the three years immediately preceding it.
For business driving, no more than one at-fault accident in the three years preceding the MVR evaluation.
Certain violations disqualify applicants from driving for Domino’s, including leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, and eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
A valid, officially stated driver’s license is required for driving; learner’s permits are not accepted as licenses.

Responsibilities

Support local charitable initiatives, including raising funds for donations and feeding people in need.
Support the company’s community giving and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fundraising efforts.
Operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, including making deliveries, if required and eligible.
