About The Position

Chili’s is seeking an Assistant Manager with restaurant experience and an interest in growing into broader management roles. The position helps build genuine connections with Team Members and Guests while supporting strong restaurant results. It is full-time at 50 hours per week.

The Assistant Manager supports restaurant operations, product quality, Guest service, and hospitality; helps train and assign work to Team Members; and assists with kitchen setup, food and beverage preparation, receiving, and storage. The role may also perform front- or back-of-house duties as needed, including serving, bartending, hosting, expediting, cooking, and dishwashing.

• Adherence to Responsible Alcohol Service standards and the Alcohol Service Policy.

• Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with restaurant operations and conditions to ensure product quality, Guest service, and hospitality.
• Review documentation to assess the quality of restaurant operations.
• Assist with training non-management employees.
• Assign duties and responsibilities to Team Members based on work requirements.
• Set up the kitchen by creating prep sheets and assigning station and cleaning duties.
• Attend Manager and Certified Trainer meetings.
• Perform basic register functions, including voids, comps, discounts, and other table maintenance.
• Assist management in monitoring food and beverage preparation, receiving, and storage.
• Resolve Guest complaints.
• When needed, perform the duties of a Server, Bartender, Host, Expediter, Line/Prep Cook, or Dishwasher.
