About The Position

Pure Kitchen is a scratch-made restaurant in the heart of Frisco, CO, built on one simple belief: food made with clean, organic ingredients makes life better. We serve locals and adventurers alike with a seasonal menu that covers every diet, plus a bar program to match. Our Assistant Manager is the backbone of the front-of-house experience. You’ll partner closely with our General Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly, mentor a passionate team, and step behind the bar twice a week to lead by example. It’s a hands-on, guest-facing position for a natural leader who is equal parts hospitality pro and cocktail enthusiast.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-service restaurant experience in a supervisory or lead role (preferred).
  • Proven bar experience: mixology, spirits, wine, and beer knowledge that impresses guests and elevates your team.
  • Strong leadership instincts: you communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and bring out the best in people.
  • A natural connector who builds trust with guests, staff, and vendors alike.
  • Comfortable with POS systems, Excel, and basic computer functions.
  • Effective problem-solver who handles the unexpected with confidence and a level head.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be at least 18 years old; able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the GM to oversee all FOH operations and ensure a seamless, welcoming guest experience from open to close.
  • Build and manage weekly staff schedules that reflect business needs and team availability.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate FOH team members, setting the standard for professionalism and hospitality.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new FOH staff.
  • Maintain open, consistent communication across the team to resolve issues quickly and keep morale high.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable Colorado labor and liquor regulations.
  • Contribute to monthly inventory counts and actively support cost-control initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and keep supply orders accurate and on schedule.
  • Bartend two shifts per week, setting the tone for bar excellence.
  • Execute cocktails with consistency, creativity, and care. Every time.
  • Bring solid knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer, and keep it growing.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, seasonal ingredients, and emerging techniques.
  • Collaborate on cocktail menu development and lead ongoing bar staff training.
  • Oversee bar inventory, ordering, and organization.
